Hello,

We are househunting in the area and due to view a property for sale in Chilcompton (Downside House, Wells Road). I just wondered if anyone could tell me about the amenities in Chilcompton - is there a village shop or post office? A pub...? etc. Many thanks in advance.

2 pubs - The redan and someset wagon

the Co-op is the village shop / post office

Theres also a 'shop' in the texaco garage but for how much longer is anyones guess if the recent plans get passed !!!!
